Band
The Middleton Marching Tigers are an HBCU style band filled with hardworking, dedicated students who love to perform, have a willingness to learn and maintain a collaborative spirit.
Students who participate* in our band program gain a well rounded experience through a variety of performance and music styles. All students are encouraged to join, regardless of experience.
*Before students can participate, band fees must be paid in full and all athletic clearance forms must be submitted and approved.
Our Seasons
-
Concert season runs from December to April annually.
Our Winter Concert kicks off this season just before our holiday break in December. Concert Band participates in numerous indoor performances for the second half of the school year, some of which include the district’s Music Performance Assessment and our wonderfully entertaining Spring Concert which happens in our school’s auditorium.
-
During marching season, our most active season, we are the Tiger Marching Machine* (TMM). Our marching style is inspired by Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) and we bring a fun and entertaining performance to our audience no matter if its an athletic game, parade or any special event.
Practice is essential and usually scheduled twice a week after school. Additional practice days are added when extra rehearsal time is needed for an upcoming performance. Students are expected to show up and participate consistently.
*TMM is available for hire at special events. To book our band, complete the form toward the bottom of this page. All monies directly support the music program and are tax-deductable.
Book the Band
