Percussion
With a mix of curiosity and play students have the opportunity to explore a diverse collection of percussion instruments. They learn to perfect rudiments, scales and timing as well as how to play in an ensemble.
Instrumental Techniques
Students in this class are introduced to a variety of percussion instruments. They learn rudiments and scales and, although not always part of band or drum line, each student has the opportunity to participate in our concert performances throughout the year.
Khaotic Groove
Our drum line has a rich history in the George S. Middleton Music Program dating back decades. When we are not performing with the band, we compete in battles throughout Florida and deliver entertaining performances for an array of special events. We help raise money for the music program through our performances and would love to bring some rhythm and energy to your special event. Booking is not available during our marching season which extends from August to November.
We must adhere to Hillsborough County School District’s guidelines while performing off campus.
